Why use Course Notes? The element of safety is of paramount importance and since 1994 many competitors have chosen to use our Course Notes as an aid towards enjoying a safer event. There are competitors that also use Course Notes for a competitive edge. Either way, there is an advantage in knowing what is over that crest, what is around the corner or in fact how sharp the corner is. Course Notes (or pace notes as the more serious and professional competitors refer to them as) are not difficult to understand or use. Since 1994, and without complaint, we have provided a great variety of teams with a set of notes for many motorsport events.
Who uses our notes? Past users of our Course Notes have included outright winners in Targa Tasmania 2004 and Classic Adelaide 2003 - 2006 inclusive while in Targa Tas 1999, 7 of the top 10 outright placegetters used our ‘notes. So too did 17 of the top 17 placegetters in the 2001 Targa Tasmania Classic division (yes, all 17!). In the inaugural 2007 Suncoast Classic Rally, Grant Denyer used our notes for only the 2nd time (1st time in Targa 2007) and successfully steered his way to 2nd outright. Other users have included many class and category winners, father and son teams, husband and wife teams and novices generally. They keep coming back too. 95-98% of all our users come straight back to Rally Notes for subsequent events. We also have customers who have used other people’s notes previously and now choose the Rally Notes product for a variety of reasons.
Thinking of writing your own notes? It's not easy if you haven't done it before! Purchase our notes and make modifications to suit your style.
